‘Future of Retail’ is a trend report that our team of 3 designers created. The 3 month long research process involved extensive data collection, analyzing trend directions and a thorough exploration of their potential implications and alternate futures in retail. By delving into the behavioral shifts, we identified four emerging trends shaping the post-pandemic retail landscape for the next few years.
This report's insights played a key role in shaping Designit's strategic pitches to potential retail clients, further building upon the company’s position as a leader in research and innovation. By delivering forward-looking perspectives, it helped clients develop strategies to navigate the evolving retail landscape in the coming years.

Using AI and automated systems for data management and analytics to enhance logistics, operations and business intelligence.
Brands are using real-time data for stock management, pricing, and inventory visibility, while automating delivery networks and warehouse operations with AI and robotics for a more efficient supply chain.
Engaging consumers socially and building emotional connections with retail stores by community building.
Brands are fostering a strong sense of belonging by creating spaces for personal interaction, such as exclusive communities or sensorial experiences, and moving towards blended retail concepts.
Offering consumers a personalized and integrated shopping experience by modern technological interventions.
